The mission
Financial management built for national security.
The United States Intelligence Community runs specialized financial management processes to steer agency programs and resources in support of the National Security Strategy. VetFAS professionals work inside that machinery every day, collaborating with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on the Intelligence Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution, and Evaluation (IPPBE) process that identifies requirements and allocates the National Intelligence Program funding that shapes and sustains IC capabilities.
We support IC Resource Management through preparation of the Intelligence Program Budget Submission (IPBS) and the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB), and our analysis of performance measures, reporting mechanisms, and policy compliance powers data driven strategic planning for customer programs at every CONUS and OCONUS location.
